Imagine getting paid for watching paint dry. You don’t have to paint the walls and get dirty. Just stand in the center of the room and watch it dry. Sounds boring, right? Who would want to do this job? Well, Keith Jackson from the UK has been doing this for decades. For more than thirty years, this man has been working to assess the drying time in industrial paint.
The most challenging part of his job? Well, he has to touch the paint to assess its tackiness. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Keith said, “people do laugh and find it amusing when I tell them what I do. It could be described as the most boring job in the world, but it is a very important one.” He also said, “watching paint dry sounds quite easy, but it can be stressful at times.”
Number 9: Lifeguard at the Swimming Pool at the Olympics
When we go to the beach, apart from seeing the beautiful sea, we also see lifeguards who are there to help save people from drowning. They help kids who forgot that they never learned how to swim before jumping into the water. Or sometimes they have to help old people who experience unexpected leg cramps. In simple words, they save people from drowning.
Now, my question is, what exactly are they doing when the swimming pool is full of the best swimmers on the planet. Who thought it was a good idea to recruit lifeguards at the swimming pool at the Olympics? Even the Rio Games lifeguard Anderson Fertes thinks that they didn’t need him. He said, “I don’t think they’ll need us, but we’ll be on the lookout just in case.”

Most of the population in this city is not even supposed to celebrate the Christmas holiday.

Now, this is my dream job. There are several ways to make money while you sleep. But this is a challenging task and will surely take some time before you start earning money.
An easier way is to become a professional sleeper and you will actually get paid for just sleeping. Your tasks as a professional sleeper include testing mattresses, pillows, and quits, writing reports on room lighting, feelings, comfort, and noise disruption, and sometimes taking sleeping pills to remain still for art exhibitions.
